PROJECT "INDIA INSIDE"

Supported by MID RF
INDIA INSIDE

India Inside is a large-scale multidisciplinary project based on a symphonic work written by Gennady Rovner. The project aims to show the possibilities of human self-realization, one’s inner strength, and desire for self-cognition and creativity.

The musical part of India Inside (57 minutes, five parts) was recorded at studios in Russia, India, and the UK.

The recording involved musicians from the leading Russian symphony orchestras as well as famous British musicians: Trevor Barry, a bass player who worked with Freddie Mercury, Celine Dion, Phil Collins; Ian Thomas, a drummer who worked with Paul McCartney, Sting, and Eric Clapton; Steve Pearce, Double Bass, who worked with Van Morrison, Stevie Wonder, Madonna, and Elton John.

Musical Bollywood star Aishwarya Majmudar, winner of the STAR Voice of India, also took part in the recording.

The project was sound-produced by the legendary Haydn Bendall (UK), who has worked with prominent names such as Cliff Richard, Paul McCartney, Pet Shop Boys, Andrea Bocelli, Sarah Brightman, and many others.

The India Inside project includes the release of a CD and a documentary about the making of the album.

The project was created as part of Rovner Forms with the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation.
