On May 29, 2026, at the Cathedral in Kaliningrad, as part of the “Symphonic Friday” programme, the Kaliningrad Symphony Orchestra under the baton of Maestro Mikhail Kirkhgoff presented two world premieres in one evening.

The audience experienced the first-ever performance of the concerto for piano, string quartet, and orchestra “Anabasis” and the suite for cello and orchestra “A Leaf in the Wind” by Gennady Rovner. The solo parts were masterfully performed by Nikita Mndoyants, laureate of international competitions (piano), and Boris Andrianov, Honored Artist of the Russian Federation (cello).
