As part of the “Symphonic Premieres in the 21st Century” programme, the Russian premiere of Gennady Rovner’s composition “Anabasis” took place at the Rostov State Musical Theatre. The work — a concerto for piano, string quartet, and orchestra — was performed by the theatre’s Symphony Orchestra under the baton of Maestro Mikhail Granovsky. The piano part was performed by Lolita Tsotsonava, laureate of international competitions
